IMPLANT PROSTHETICS

An implant prosthetic is used to replace missing teeth. It is a small fixture that is placed inside the jawbone which is then covered by a crown, a bridge or a denture. Once the implant is secured and the bones are healed, an abutment is placed on top of the implant which serves as the structure that holds the cemented artificial tooth (crown or bridge) in place.
